Brewbot is one of several microbreweries that have flourished in Mumbai in the last few years. Brewbot Taproom has 2 brewpubs to cater to craft beer enthusiasts and connoisseurs in Mumbai - Andheri and Bandra. It has won a couple of awards and is quite frequented by people of various age groups. If you're a craft beer lover then it's worth visiting Brewbot and trying their craft beers. I'll talk about the brewpub in Bandra here close to Lilavati hospital. Youngsters and adults alike from Bandra and nearby patronize the place. It attracts a reasonable crowd on weekdays and on weekends it is mostly full on occupancy. It also has a popular Saturday/Sunday drunch that attracts a lot of people. The place has a decent ambience and is good enough for an evening with friends & colleagues alike. The seats and tables are quite comfortable for a laidback evening. Plus you could enjoy the board games available at the place like other taprooms and brewpubs. If you are confused on what beer to order, you can ask for a Beer Flight. The brew menu has Skywalker, Botwork Orange, Floating Head, Draft Punk, Mystery Pale Ale, Black Mamba, Outcider in regular beers. There's also the brewing specials available such as Strawberry Sour. The beers are quite smooth and refreshing. They also have a decent assortment of liquor and cocktails to choose from for those who don't want to have beers. The food here is good too. The classic French Fries or Peri Peri Fries are worth a try as appetizers. They are available with an assortment of cheese dip, an in house sauce that is hot & sour and sour cream. We also tried the Pulled Pork Sliders and Garlic Bread. The Farmhouse Pizza was filling and delicious. The service is decent but can turn chaotic depending on the capacity. The staff is very courteous though and can help you out with making your choices by recommending beers based on your tastes. Prices are on a higher side but there's Happy Hours besides Zomato Gold if you want to make the best of your visit. All in all a good experience for Craft Beer Lovers.

Looking for a place for dinner which served good beer, we stumbled upon Brewbot Taproom while browsing on Zomato. Booking a table was no hassle, and neither was a slight revision of the booking as the traffic caught us out, delaying our arrival. When we finally got there, we entered a spacious establishment, with well spaced out tables, music on the louder side, and lighting that was bright nor dim. The chairs had no backrest but they were comfortable nevertheless. We activated our Zomato Gold, and ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, and a Draft Punk. The cocktail was on the stronger side, just the way I like it, while the beer had a touch of citrus fruitiness. House Calamari was our first starter, which was served in garlic gravy and with buttered buns. The calamari itself was average, I've had better elsewhere, but the gravy was yum and so were the buns. Up next we had Chargrilled Piri Piri Chicken, which had fried potato in vermicelli fashion on top of the meat as well as a generous layer of cheese. The piri piri flavour came through wonderfully, though it was not spicy. My next drink was Lager Passion, a congruence of vodka, passion fruit and peach juices, and craft beer, and boy was it lovely, I highly recommend it. The starters were followed by a full sized Chipotle Chicken Pizza. Thin crusted with shredded chicken on top amidst a thick layer of cheese, I enjoyed every bite of it, it's another recommendation. Not quite satiated, we ordered Herb Crusted Rawas, which was served with mashed potatoes, greens and soy butter. The fish was more than palatable, and the potatoes weren't bad either, but what really provided the lasting taste was the caramelized sauce. Finally, for dessert we opted for Willy Wonka. A chocolate mousse with thick chocolate ganache topped with peanut butter parfait, this was an outright winner, my taste buds rejoiced in it's rich chocolatey flavour. To sum up then, Brewbot Taproom is a really nice spot to chug a few drinks and chomp on a few munchies. Full marks for the booze, and the food is for the most part quite good. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is the serving quantity, which I found to be inadequate. Also this is not exactly an inexpensive restaurant, so it doesn't score highly on the value for money parameter. The service is quick, the staff is polite and helpful, no complaints there.

Interesting place Good live music (atleast on the day I visited) Good food. The house special prawns are fabulous and a must try.. pizzas are good too.. Whit beer is a bit sweeter than expected.. Hefeweizen is the best when it comes to a balanced taste.. Black mamba is good for the first two sips. Evey sip thereafter makes u feel that u shud hav ordered the hefeweizen.. Overall, lovely place for an evening chill..
