Avarya is like Santacruz’s best street food joint! Outside the shop you get amazing chaat, mouthwatering frankies, potato twisters, fries & amazing Maggi & dosas too!! It’s the local comfort zone 🤪♥️
In this area we require something very good and tasty and trust me avarya has some of the best food items and plus the pani puri stall is yum, they do have some dry snacks go check out this place which is so attractive in that area !!!!
Avarya is a store synonymous with fresh, varied food :) It has lot of hot farsan, misthan (sweets), imported food items and choclates, everyday naashtha like khakhra, wafers, chivda, etc.
Just outside the store, many food stalls are there - You will get variety of snacks like - Dabeli, Frankie, Sandwich, Maggi, Pasta & Chat options. All are reasonably priced and made fresh in front of you.
What I Love eating @ Avarya -
1. Mumbaiya maggi - Lots of fresh veggies cooked with our fav masala maggi and served piping hot.
2. Dabeli - Mast amul butter mai toast ki huyi Dabeli
3. Frankie - Spicy aloo filling in Yummy thin rolls of atta with lots of frankie masala
4. Pani Puri - Super duper yummy and fresh tikha paani made with bisleri water
5. Paneer Capsicum Samosa - Please try their Paneer capsicum samosa (available in raw form inside the store. You can deep fry or air fry at home). They are the best.
6. Kand ni wafers - Purple yam crispy wafers - May seem a tad oily but there are yummy
7. Zillions of Modaks during Ganpati festival - I havent seen more variety in Modaks anywhere in Mumbai during the festival.
This place is literally less than a km away from home so we frequently flock to it to buy food items and relish the fresh food prepared there.
All in all a hangout place for youngsters & great place to buy food items.
P.S. Right outside its food stalls, there is an excellent Dosawala as well ;) Extremely tasty, vfm dosas. Also an eggless cake shop is adjacent to Avarya making it a hub for food.
