This place is very beautiful 🤩
The vibe is so romantic and relaxing.
Their ambience is pretty and calming, they have very unique cute lamps for every table. They have dim light theme set up perfect for a date night or relaxing with a bunch of friends.
We ordered Hummus Pita and it was soooo goooood.. taste was so authentic..just loved it.
Then we ordered Alfredo Penne Pasta with extra cheese, and they didn’t disappoint us! It was delicious 🤤
Then in the end we ordered fries with piri sauce, they were perfectly cooked. They took time to prepare dishes but it was worth it.
We tried Mead, and enjoyed Geisha. Ordered one cocktail called strand, it was also good.
Everything was good.
Service can be little faster but the experience was good.
London Inspired cafe and Mead Taproom!
This newest place in Andheri is serving some lip smacking British food options along with some amazing craft mead varieties. Place offers calm and classy indoor and outdoor seating options!
They have a compact but excellent food menu including equal varieties for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, they are serving 6 different craft mead options at the moment and we just love the Nektar!! well trained staff and service was up to the mark.
Coming to the food, all the options that we tried were excellent in terms of taste and quality.
For the appetizers we had, pulled jackfruit tacos! Soft shell tacos loaded with jackfruit so well cooked in spices and tolled with fresh guacamole, sour cream and fine chopped onion tomato mix! It was kind of flavour bomb!
Potato in chili aioli was another lip snacking munching option that we tried. Baby potatoes so well cooked and tossed in herbs and varieties of fine chopped bell peppers, the mixture is then garnished with variety of sauces. Overall this is the perfect Munching option along with a glass of mead.
For the mains we had stuffed crepes, believe me this one is a must try when you visit The Canary! Crepes on a bed of bravas with that perfect texture stuffed with sautéed exotic veggies that gives crunch in every bite. Overall this was a showstopper dish for me.
We also had, Torn Mozzarella pizza! Perfectly baked and loaded with lots of cheese. It was upto the mark I would say.
For the Desserts we had authentic British style spotted d**k sponge! Presentation was excellent, bread was melt in mouth kinda soft and it was garnished with some fresh fruit pieces. Something different and delicious!
Overall, this is an excellent place if you want to enjoy some British delicacies alogn with craft meads or other regular alcoholic beverages, their food options are really unique and they are serving quality food. We just loved the outdoor seating area and found it perfect for a date too! We had an amazing time dining at this place.
The Canary is located in the famous T-Series lane at Andheri West opposite Citimall. The lane is buzzing with all these amazing restaurant options. While visiting one of the other restaurants in the lane, I passed by The Canary and since then always wanted to visit. Just love the ambience here, gives a nice British Pub feel. It has an indoor as well outdoor seating area. Indoor seating has 2 levels. Can easily accommodate large groups as well. The menu is quite diverse - British Pub Food, Desserts, Meads and other drinks on taproom. The place was well lit when we entered in the evening and as the night progressed the lights were dimmed. A small desk lamp on every table looked so beautiful.
Talking about what all we tried there -
We started with Potato in Chilli Aioli 5/5 and Hummus with Falafel and Pita 5/5. Both the dishes were simply top notch, loved it. Hummus portion was very generous. Potato dish along with bell pepper tossed in hot sauce. Can be a little spicy, but totally worth it. We also ordered for couple of mocktails - Berry Mint 5/5 and Curry Lime 4/5. My preference would be Berry Mint - a raspberry and strawberry puree with fresh orange and dash of mint and soda. Refreshing for sure! Go for Curry Lime if you are OK with a bit of bitterness due to fresh curry leaves.
Moving to mains - we ordered the Torn Mozzarella Pizza. They have stone fired thin crust base 10 inch pizza. 5/5. Lastly for dessert we called for Sizzling Brownie with Sesame Ice-cream. Usually it's the vanilla one but this one was a good twist. 5/5. Overall I loved the food and experience at The Canary, it's a must visit! Wishing all the luck to the Canary.
