Really liked the food. Wanted to try Sushi for the first time and I really liked it.
For someone who wants to try Sushi for the first time they should definitely visit over here.
Ambience and service were also good. Will definitely visit again
I love the food of foo and have been to other branches. It was first time visiting Andheri one and I must say, quality of food is constant across their branches. We ordered Sushi, dimsums and both were amazing. But the highlight was their Truffle and Edamame Burnt Garlic Fried rice .. it was one of the best fried rice I had in recent times.
Walked out of the neighbouring Pan Asian restaurant and decided to do Sunday Brunch at Foo again as I really enjoy their food. So glad I did as the place was decorated for Christmas and the vibes were just great.
Food and Spread: the festive brunch options were excellent (pretty much same as their Sunday brunch menu) and included 2-4 choices across soup, salad, sushi, dimsum, appetizers, main course and dessert. This is what I would recommend you to try from their huge menu:
1. Siracha chicken dumpling
2. Spicy hamachi maki
3. Wasabi, truffle and edamame dumpling
4. Tenderloin chilly
5. Strawberry cheesecake (icecream was the winner 😉)
I couldn't try the main course yet again as I was really stuffed because I repeated a few of the items above (you can call for any items as many times) but the portion sizes are just ideal for a single serving so you can try more options if required. Really happy with the quality and taste of food. My wife and friend loved their meal too.
Drinks: They also have a set brunch drinks menu from which we tried just the Meso sour which turned out to be very good though on the sweeter side as they add a bit of caramel syrup to it.
Service: Unlike the last time, the service was pretty good this time around and there wasn't any chaos even when the place was packed.
Ambience: they have an indoor and outside section. As we had walked in, we sat at the bar for half the meal and then were shifted to a table inside though I would have preferred to sit in their cabana styled seats outside.
Our overall bill with taxes came to Rs. 8900 for 3 (festive brunch food package with drinks on ala carte) which I would consider a bit steep but it's totally worth it.
Overall I really enjoyed the food, drinks & the ambience and recommend this place to anyone willing to splurge for a nice Asian Sunday brunch.
