The Blue Door is a cafe that is located at Plot No-55, Canal Rd Gokulpeth, Gokulpeth, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440010.
It is a very nice place to spend an evening with your friends. This place is spacious and the wood work around the walls, sitting area and the floor gives the ambiance a chic look.
Went for a late night dinner where I wanted to eat some good food and just relax. I had pulled myself with extra energy the whole week and it was time to relax.
I found this very cozy sitting area (pic below) for myself. Called for a few things and that was Anda Ghotala, Chicken Lasagna in White n Red Sauce Mix, Mangalorian Chicken Ghee Roast and Berry Smoothie along with a Lavender Lemonade.
About the food:
1. Anda Ghotala: The first bite of it and I knew I had come to a place that suits my platter. Loved the chunky pieces of boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and the masala along with two well butter tossed mini burger buns.
2. Chicken Lasagna: So this is the first time I ate a Chicken Lasagna after I shifted to Nagpur. I was told the Lasagna sheet would be above a bed of minced chicken and mushrooms with some rich white sauce and red sauce. It was so good, cheesy, flavorful and filling. The only part was I still am wondering did I even bite into a piece of mushroom. Whatever it is, the food tasted awesome.
3. Mixed Berry Smoothie: So here came the sweet, tangy, filling and heavy drink that I had called for. I was once again impressed with the rote consistency and quantity for the money that I had agreed to shell out.
4. Mangalorian Chicken Ghee Roast: This is a FULL meal in itself. Which I thought would not be. There was a full chicken thigh accompanied with Lemon Rice n Churchur Naan. The menu read out as Neer Dosha. But when the order arrived I was a little sad that Neer Dosha toh gaya, but the churchur naan was good. The gravy was less oily, less spicy and had RICH flavor of Curry Leaves.
Being from Malabar Mangalorian dishes are always cooked back home. So I had a good time eating it, but was saddened to taste the lemon rice. There was no lemon in the lemon rice at all. I was expecting it to be tangy and tasty.
5. Lavender Lemonade: This was the showstopper for me. The rite flavour of Lemonade n Lavender, both went so well with each other.
A special note that from the crockery, cutlery to everything is so apt and perfect.

Recommendations: A happy face in the cafe always helps attracts people and also brings in a lot of people.
Someone in order to welcome or atleast speak at the reception should be available while a guest walks in.
When a guest asks for a query the Manager atleast should be in a position to break into a conversation.
Also I understand that not all days are good for everyone but there is no harm to smile.
All the best and be happy, keep feeding the hungry souls.
One of those days when everything goes right and you just wish that the evening concludes in a fancy yet subtle affair.
The experience at the blue door was worthy.
Right from the soup, the burger with the desi flavour, the mocktail with a dash of green chilly everything was perfect.however the dish that made my taste buds go bonkers was "the activated charcoal pasta".
The place is quite serene and vibrant with comfy seating, well mannered staff.

I dont really go to the restaurant easily coz i dont trust the authenticity of the food and most of time i get disappointed but this cafe proved me wrong, they are best in town, perfect food, ambiance and greate service team make there standard high.
