We stumbled upon this beautiful place on our way to Almora. One of the best sensory and visual experiences. The host is a wonderful person with a penchant for living life authentically. The food is excellent aided by courteous staff. Tyson, the resident dog is the best companion to explore this beautiful farm-cafe. Please do pay a visit if you’re crossing by. I know I will definitely visit again. Lots of love. - Yamini
While driving towards Mukteshwar road we stopped at Meraki cafe near lower Peora for snacking. Located on a vibrant picturesque location with a majestic view of himalayas, Café Meraki is one of a kind, a bright and airy space with open air sitting.
It is a contemporary Herbal Tea Cafe. We ordered Coffee and their signature herbal tea made from garden fresh herbs along with Omelette and sandwich, all were delicious. Especially, the Herbal tea was perfect, it had just right amount of sweetness and the blend of herbs. They also served Kumaoni delicacy.
As we entered the cafe the owner Mr. Diwan Matiyani himself offered us a mini tour of their newly built homestay and the organic farm.
They grow herbs like thyme, mint, basil, oregano to n number of spices, fresh organic vegetables and fruit plants.
If your are looking for chilled, relaxed time to spend in a homestay with a cafe with good view, Highly recommend. So happy with everything.
Its surely "let's go to chirping tales" ...anytime.

Loved the pahadi food, the best was the chaulai ki sabji and bhang chatni. Refreshing and soothing atmosphere, nice rosemary thyme tea. We also had a tour of their own farm, had a great chat with the owner.
