It is one of d hidden places but not a gem for sure. Placed in the backside of the market on second floor I was wondering how many ppl does know bout it.it was empty wen we went there. Food was decent while dere is still room for improvement. We had chicken phad thai. Wich was ok ok. Lacked sprouts n pok choi in it. Were as we ordered for thai chicken basil with steamed rice. It wasn't dere on the menu but was arranged on request wich was very nice of them. It was nice but had cornflour n minced mushrooms in between minced chicken. The authentic basil chicken doesn't have mushroom or cornflour in it
Definitely a hidden gem in Greater Kailash 1.
Located at the end of the lane, Asian Attic is a little space done lucratively with lights, dream catchers, mini hookahs, cages, etc.
We dropped by on a winter afternoon.
Thus, starting with soups.
Hot & Sour and Thukpa Soup were our two options.
Out of these two,
HOT & SOUR was a classic, a little hot in spices as compared to Thukpa!
Next came a round of starters which were delicious!
Starting with BBQ Chicken Wings which are a specialty here.
The way the wings have been sizzled in BBQ sauce along with maintaining the right amount of softness.
A total Chili Chicken lover,
I have to admit that these ones at Asian Attic have been made in the traditional way with the best of chili and apt flavors.
Steamed dim sums were the one to go here! Served in the Bamboo box, the sides served made the perfect snack.
But they have a specialty wherein the dim sums were made in a way that was something out of the ordinary and delicious.
Next came the spring roll,
lacking on the crisp, the filling was sufficient and fulfilling to ones taste buds.
The chili potato was normal, could be avoided.
Moving on to the main course,
A sorted course of chicken manchurian with two choices, Fried Rice and Noodles.
Manchurian was well made with fluffy manchurian balls and rich gravy making it a delectable combination.
Ending this meal with a brownie topped with ice cream.
The thing about this brownie is that it was gooey on the inside.
Gooey enough to compliment the combo and this meal.
Overall,
The place has great food, with a pretty corner.
They can improvise by adding fun or event specific elements in day to day operations.
Asian Attic is the newest discovery I made, a small cozy place to have fabulous Asians Cuisine. The restaurant is small with a seating of max 30 pax but don't go by the looks of the restaurant. The interiors are given Asian touch, with China dolls and masks it gives a nice vibe. The restaurant is on 2nd floor; a lift could have been better but no worries climbing the stairs is considered as a workout before gorging the deliciousness.
The staff is very courteous and happy to help. Light music and beautiful ambiance sets the right mood.
So what one should not miss at Asian Attic:
🔹Chicken Laksa: One must have from their menu. The weather demands soup like this.
🔹 Korean BBQ Chicken Wings: Spicy hot sauce tossed Chicken Wings are just too good.
🔹 Chill Fish: Should not miss this at all. Spicy goodness.
🔹 Thai Green Curry : A rich and delectable flavoured green curry went well with Rice.
In a nutshell a nice new place with all good components, hope they keep it up. Looking forward to some more visits.
