We went to Big Wong for their burgers and surprisingly, they’re the best burgers I’ve had in India. I consider myself to be a bit of a chicken sandwich/burger savant.
Best peri peri fries on the planet. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Served with mayo. It’s perfection. It’s like McDonald’s fries but better.
I’m a non vegetarian so I ordered the Anderson with pickles and peri peri fries. It’s essentially an American style fried chicken burger. The crunch was insane. You could tell that it was made to order in house. Every single ingredient was absolutely perfect. The buns were soft and buttery too.
My girlfriend ordered the vegetarian burger called Sabrina. She loved it too. She’s a picky eater when it comes to burgers because there’s rarely any burger which beats the mc aloo tikki but this one surely did, especially with the peri peri fries.
We also ordered the pink sauce pasta. It arrived after everything else but it was so worth it. The only way I can describe it as is the most Indian pasta ever… and that’s a good thing. I’m tired of authentic 3-4 ingredient pastas in the US. Sometimes I crave Indian pasta with 200 different ingredients, and this definitely hit the spot
If I saw the chef, I would give them a kiss on the mouth. 10/10 food. Will take everyone I know to Big Wong atleast once
Located right on the main road at the Sterling Mall sector 104 in Noida, this Big Wong outlet is on the 4th floor and the special thing to mention is the huge open terrace seating they have that faces the lotus boulevard high-rise apartments. Worth spending a winter evening here with nice warm soup, some amazing Cambodian prawns and nice sushi to go along.
We visited the Hajipur outlet during the Dimsum and Asian Curry Festival.
They had limited options in the festival menu......5-6 in each category (dimsums and curries).
Any of the mocktails and beverages could be added to the order for 99 INR.
We tried their spinach and tofu and tricolor dimsums. Spinach and tofu dimsums were good. Tricolor dimsums were okay. For curries we had the cambodian curry and green thai curry; you could choose between normal and sticky rice.....we went for the sticky rice option. Both were good.
For drinks we had the kafir lime and kokum drink. Both the drinks were good.
The food though good has nothing to remember the place by.
Definitely a one visit place.
