When Pune did not know much of Mediterranean food, a small venture showed courage of exploring a virgin territory and Marrakesh was born! As long as I remember whenever we discussed about having a shawarma or ordering hummus we always opted for Marrakesh.
I still remember as a kid whenever we friends used to hang out we used to relish their Shawarma and till today they have same taste or even better! Their quality has set a standard in the market and is hard to achieve by others. All their sauces, hummus, marinations are in house, they use only top quality ingredients to deliver top quality product.
Today they serve 11 types of Shawarmas. Their other product range such as biryanis, kebabs, curry’s and hummus with breads is also a must try if you have already.
Now they have multiple branch across Pune but I’m very nostalgic about the FC Road branch, good food brings good memories.
Other than their Shawarma I totally love their Makrana Kebabs! Do give it a try :)
Ordered Butter Chicken from here via Zomato. The taste was good and the chicken was fresh and soft, but the quantity was a bit less.
One of the best restaurants to try some yemeni/ arabic as well as indian cuisine
I had ordered few dishes from here and was very satisfied with taste
I ordered moutabbal with zatar naan
The taste of moutabbal was quite authentic
I expected the zatar naan to be thick bread with lots of zatar on it as served in arabian countries...but the taste was quite good of the thin zatar naan
I ordered open face shawarma
In it all the sauces were mixed with chicken in a container and was served with two pita breads
The taste was very nice but the size of pita bread were too small
I also ordered boti kebab with tandoori roti
It was very tender and juicy
My over all ratings for my experience is 4/5*
