I was here with my "would be" mrs :-). It was special dinner for us and food did not disappoint!
One thing noticeable is their cook is either punjabi or is trained well in punjabi cuisine. It was authentic punjabi food than typical hybrid mix. Now I am not a punjabi but I had roomie and friends who are punjabi and I think I know how home cooked punjabi dishes taste like. So this food was good on that front. We ordered malai kofta and dal makhani and both were delicious, I loved dal makhani in fact.
Now one other thing I noticed is cost, its almost double for what it should be. Curry quantities is huge so curry prices still make sense but other things, like rotis, for example, do not. Now location is premium so some bump up in prices is understandable but I think these guys have scope to improve prices. Food is good so you might not mind at the end of the meal but still..just noting my observation.
All in all, decent ambience and good food, so if you are with friends and family and happen to be in phoenix mall, dont miss this good food.
Service was a little slow.. Had to wait for 10-15 minutes just for a roll and a tea. I have never ate such an oily roll before. Tasty, but too oily. Tea was good. Siting area is in general food court, and not much tables to dine near the outlet.
Chole bhature is highly recommended. If you are a tea lover then kulhar chai will tempt you..but no..dont try!!
