The rooftop restaurant can be more fancier. They should work on the interiors again. If is not as fancy as it looks in the photos here. But still a good place to hangout for bachelors.

Highland is a Rooftop Restobar located in Baner. The place opens only during the evenings from 4 pm to half an hour past midnight. Recently, I was here with a couple of friends on a weekend.
#Ambience
As soon as you enter the place, you can see the bar in front of you. The ambience is decent and the place is illuminated with lamps and hanging lights. There is no dance floor as such over here, but the staff does make space for the revellers where they can shake a leg. However, on my visit, the DJ was not that good and the playlist was quite ordinary. One can't help but notice the attractive highland signboard which is very well lit up.
They have a variety of furniture ranging from white glass tables supported by different coloured lights from beneath, wooden tables and tables with a slab on top. The seating also includes wooden chairs, long sofa sets, sofa chairs and cushioned chairs.
There is also a metal tree structure on the lines of best out of waste which is beautifully lit.

The service during our visit was decent. Though we were treated nicely and all our requests were accepted,we felt that the staff is not that well groomed and professional in the way they deal with the customers.
The food and drinks arrived in time at our tables.

Jalapeno Cheese Pops- Deep fried jalapeno cheese balls. They were just satisfactory in taste and the quantity of jalapeno could be slightly more. The cheese inside could have been a little more in molten state.
Peri Peri Fries- French Fries done in peri peri seasoning. These were remarkable and very well prepared. They had a slight crisp feel to them which is exactly how I like my fries. The peri peri masala added the required zing to the fries. #Recommended
Masala Peanuts- Peanuts tossed with spices, chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander and lime. Now masala peanuts is a humble no-frills bar bite, but they prepared it so well that it vanished of the plate in no time. #Recommended
Paneer-E-Bahaar- Paneer cubes marinated in red spices served with grilled onion,capsicum and garnished with coriander. It was decent in taste, could have been a little more chatpata.
We also ordered LIIT for my friends which was disappointing as it was not potent at all. We requested them to do it again which they accepted. They got it back , and this time it was better , but still there was a scope of improvement.

So I recently visited this place for the first time . I wanted to what is all the hype about . Ambiance was super nice plus it was rooftop which was the best part about this whole restaurant . Service was also really nice and food was tasty .
