Excellent and slightly underrated place to have good non vegetarian food. Their mutton thali is exceptional. And so is their mutton biryani. Their portion sizes are huge. The food is moderately spicy. Service was quick. Washrooms are clean. They tend to get quite busy on weekends and there could be some wait before being seated. Free street parking is available.
Starting with the food, they served unlimited Tambda and Pandhra Rassa(Curry), amongst which Pandhra Rassa was simply amazing. You can get it refilled many times. We had Chicken Banjara for starters which was equally tasty. For the main course we had Chicken dum biryani. The taste was okay not too great. It was somewhere giving a sweet taste in between which was offbeat. Quantity was more than enough for 2 people. The staff is very polite and the service was quite efficient. They also have a waiting queue outside. The ambience gave a traditional village vibe which was really good. Parking is an issue that we faced. No proper dedicated parking space.
Update 1- This time we tried the Shahi chicken thali, which was excellent in every aspect. The quantity and taste was very nice.
A good place for Maharashtrian Thalis mutton or chicken.
We had the mutton thali, but everything chicken and only keema in mutton as that’s how we wanted it, we ordered one thali and one sharing thali. Which means you get everything in one thali and the other thali is just the rice, roti and gravy and you share the main thali.
In veg we had the soya keema gravy which was also nice. Over all good, service is okay. Place is busy always.
