Been having food here since 1988. Over the years it has evolved from a simple Irani Cafe to a Family Restaurant serving Mughlai dishes as well as Indo-Chinese cuisine. Went there on 8th Feb, after a while. Wanted to have a light dinner with my cousin. We ordered Half Tandoori Chicken for starters and requested the owner for freshly baked, succulent chicken even if had to wait for sometime. He instructed the cook the same. It took close to 30 minutes, but the dish which ended up on our table, was delicious and lip smacking; the chicken was slightly burnt, but only on the edges. My cousin loved the taste of succulent and perfectly done meat. Later, we ordered 1 plate Regular Chicken Biryani for main course. Again, the meat in the Biryani was fresh and well cooked and the quantity of rice was more than enough for two people. The salan and raita which were served as side dishes were tasty too. Only disappointment was the biryani was not hot and piping as usual; the rice was cold though the handi in which Biryani came in seemed hot and raita was diluted. The dinner bill was just Rs.360 and we left the restaurant satisfied to grab delicious Meeta Paans from Marshal Paan Shop which is near by the restaurant. These juicy Paans are mandatory, especially after a good dinner.
Biryani is awesome 🍽❤. It's too Delicious 😋. Good service.
Chai (tea) was very good at this place
