It is crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and filled with a spicy and flavorful potato mixture. The chutneys and sambar served alongside are the perfect accompaniment, and I found myself unable to resist a second serving. Equally impressive was the Paddu, which is a lesser-known dish but equally delicious. These bite-sized dumplings are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a delectable blend of spices and vegetables. I could have easily made a meal out of these alone. Overall, the oldest hotel in town is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a slice of history and enjoy some truly outstanding South Indian Food.
