Food tasted great... Prawns and crab ordered were a fresh catch... however I gave them a 2 star for Prawns sukke thali. Because as per my understanding thali consists of main gravy, and Fish fry here it should have been prawns fry...but in this particular thali prawns fry was missing.... however there were adequate pieces of prawns in the sukke gravy....they did not send the chutney and the salad as mentioned in the thali description...Crab gravy was fresh and delicious....bhakri was very soft and solkadi was good as well could have added little less salt to the solkadi...the restaurant has fair ratings for the dishes they have served..... could get better
This is probably the best Seafood and Konkani Cuisine restaurant in Thane. Had been here before lockdown so was pretty sure of the quality when I ordered again. Things I ordered:
1. Chimboricha Kalvan (5/5): Wonderful thick gravy presentation with big crab pieces. The taste of crab was prevalent in the gravy. Gravy was medium spicy, not too oily and was perfect to have with Bhakris.
2. Prawns Malvani Curry (4/5): Another delicious curry cooked in Malvani style. Had more than 10 medium sized juicy prawns. Gravy had amazing flavour and tangy flavour of Kokam.
3. Rice Bhakari (5/5): One of the best Rice Bhakaris I have ever had. They were soft, big in size and went so well with the gravies.
Sea foods are appetiting ,or enticing, palatable, comfortable seating area ,malvani chicken delightful and exquisite test of chicken, divine presentation of marathi style of Modak
