Must visit Twenty Nine if you are in a bigger group. It is a very innovative concept and most of the dishes we tried were cooked well and gave us a taste of that State. We were a group of 7 and we could order many things on the menu
Veg Dumplings - 5/5 (Yum, I am a little partial towards dumplings)
Kashmiri Harissa Roll - 4/5
Chandarpuri Bonda - 5/5 (Must try if you haven't ever had it)
Paanki Chutney - 4/5
Potato Chops with Sanmeholi Chutney - 4/5 (Similar to Bonda, pick that over this)
Laal Hara Chaat - 4/5 (If you want a salad)
Appam with Vegetable Stew - 4/5
Puneri Missal Pav - 3/5 (I was quite disappointed with the taste and flavours of this one - can miss it)
Hyderabadi Mirchi ka Saalan, Laccha Roti aur Papad - 4/5
Pyaaz Kachori - 3/5 (it was only filled with onions, can miss it)
Rajma Chawal - 3/5 (It was highly creamy and a little sweet - can miss it)
Kesar Pista Phirni - 4/5 (not too sweet and a good consistency)
For beverages, we ordered the Punjabi lassi, Shikanji and Aam Panna and all of them were good in taste.
The staff was courteous, they even accepted our Zomato Gold though we forgot to mention it earlier and they even cancelled a dish for us.
Overall, it was a great experience and we wanted to still try other items on the menu. Would like to visit it next time!
Very innovative concept and well executed. Sizeable portions combined with Zomato Gold makes this an ideal destination if u have a good appetite. Also the food presentation is very well thought out.
Conveniently located at the ground floor of Sharanam Hotel on the service road of main highway, adjacent to RTO Thane.
Gets a bit noisy during the weekend.
A decently made restaurant known to a very few inspite of being a pure veg restaurant which are usually very famous, this place is not know to many and needs more awareness.
Located on the service road near thane rto, the interiors are pretty good, there should have been some soft music in the place as it gets very awkward there was complete silence when we came.
Inspite of section of the restaurant being closed, the service was too slow and the restaurant was quite empty being a sunday night. Service needs to be improved majorly.
So they serve different delicacies from different states, which are thier specialities.
We ordered khameeri roti and kasturi sabzi being a speciality from kashmir, the sabzi was delicious, roti did not like that much too much maida and not cooked well or maybe the khameri roti is that way, too chewy. Then ordered the standard jeera rice dal tadka which was also very decent.here they have roti and sabzi combos, dal and rice combo..
Location:- 4/5 (vallet prking available)
