"I'm not as think as you drunk i am"
Talli is a bustling lounge where the "din" is high but the "dinner" is even higher!
Noisy but nice is the overall impression we had after our delicious dinner night.
Service was attentive even though there was a bustling crowd. We've been here a few times and the food was always well prepared, nicely presented, and quite tasty.
You get plenty on your plate no matter what you order and their menu is sufficiently wide to meet most everyone's palate.
Prices are reasonable.
Recommended : You can select anything from the menu .. trust us everything is mouth watering.
Starter : French Fries with Indian twist
Main Course : Pot Rice
Drinks : Bira pitcher.
We had been to talli for couple of time. Huge space including upstairs, booming sound with good music will let you enjoy dancing, also good food quality, courteous staff, great crowd is what we liked there. It's a worth visiting place.
Located at Manpada, Thane. Talli the unrefined lounge was in our minds for quite sometime. it’s been few months they have opened up. Me and one of my friend visited here over a Friday. Their cuisines include Italian, Continental, European etc. They have got two floors to accommodate the large crowd so that their experience won’t be hampered and are also open to corporate parties.
They are decking up really hard to make this place a success, with plans to renovate soon and making it more happening. I must say it’s a fun and happy place with impeccable food, yummy drinks and great music (they can be more good here).
The person looking after our table was quick and helped in making us comfortable. We preferred to sit at the lower floor seating.
The ambience is rightly done but they could have been better with lights. It looks little shady and hence the interiors are not much visible. The tables could have been more wider but since this place turns out to be a party place, small tables will give justice to the dance floor.
We tried out the below menu and trust me I had no complaints, the food is splendidly good (Sadly fish was not available on the day we visited, I would advise you to check with the restaurant prior visiting on the availability of menu):
Appetizers and Main Course:
1) Charmoulla Chicken (Highly Recommended): Moroccan style char grilled chicken marinated in spicy coarinder pesto sauce. Loved every bit of it, have it when served hot. A must try.
2) Spicy Cilantro Golden Prawns (Recommended): Crumbed fried prawns served with tartar sauce. Felt the prawns were little smelly. However the staff confirmed it was fresh and I decided to trust them over this.
3) Curried BBQ Wings (Highly Recommended): This was finger licking food. I finished the wings in no time. A must try for all the chicken lovers.
4) Pot Rice - Prawns (Highly Recommended): Served with flavourful sauce, it is a chinese specially rice with marinated prawns and vegetables, loved it. But the sauce could have been more better, considering the missing aroma of garlic and onion, it was more of a tomato based I felt.
Drinks:
1) Whiskey Sour (Recommended)
2) Martini (Perfect for the evening)
3) Spicy Guava (Loved it)
4) Virgin Mojito (Perfect)
Note: They have their own labelled packaged drinking water.
Dessert:
1) Sizzling Brownie: You cannot end your meal without this yummy brownie with heavenly poured hot chocolate. But it was missing the pineapple at the base which can make it more delicious.
Good food lovers understand that eating is both a physiological and a psychological act. Food is very important but many other things come into account and this place didn’t disappoint me in any of the above aspects.
Go and visit this place and have a fun time with your friends or family.
Happy Eating and Don’t drink & drive :)
