Woke up in the morning, craving for biriyani. And I've been coming across a lot of reviews about the Biriyani of 'The Kitchen'. Though I'm a regular customer, I've only had sandwiches and other dishes but I always wanted to taste 'Shan's Biriyani'. It was raining, and the mood was set. I ordered the Biriyani, and unlike most restaurants, the waiting time was quiet less. (We were super hungry as we had just returned from our college.)And the Biriyani arrived. The biriyani was hot and spicy and I loved the fact that the it wasn't too oily. Having brought up in North India, I was never really a fan of the biriyani made with short grain rice, but this is one is an exception. Totally in love with the dates pickle served with it. P.S : The raita was not watery. The biriyani was worth every penny I paid. Can't wait to take my mom to eat the same. I ate this around and I felt full till around 7, that's a filling biriyani for ₹160.
Great hazelnut delight. Simply fell in love with it. Will go there back for it. The fish fingers was not up to the mark. Chicken yokke roll and sandwich was good. Best for the coffee.
A cool place with an excellent ambiance. Easy to locate, in the first floor of SBI building on way from pattom to kowdiar. Their speciality is Shan's Biriyani, chicken biriyani is an exotic mix of very tasty masala and short basmati rice. The chicken pieces are well cooked. Served along with raitha and pickle. Worth the 160 rupees paid.
