I had the opportunity to visit the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple recently, and the experience was truly mesmerizing. I was amazed to witness the strict dress code and the attention to detail in maintaining the purity and sanctity of the temple.
One of the most striking features of the temple is its intricate and detailed architecture, with its traditional Dravidian style. The impressive Ananthasayanam idol is truly breathtaking. This unique form of Lord Vishnu makes the temple even more revered.
There were very strict dress codes for devotees, like only dhotis for males and white-red saree for females and no photography allowed inside the temple.
Overall, my visit was a memorable and fulfilling experience. I highly recommend a visit to this magnificent temple to all.
Visited on 19/12/2023, One of the most beautiful temple, early morning 05:30hrs darshan completed, we blessed and felt vibes of happiness, it is advisable to take a tour of this temple at early morning, outside view of this temple while sun raising is awesome you can see shadows in water. 4 entrances are there for dharshan, east gate is the main entrance most probably rush will be there.
Tip - if you are not taken any room, want to bath at dormitory, most probably east entrance side will be too rush, it's better to go North side less rush to get fresh at dormitory.
Beautiful and historic. It is worth the visit even if you are not Hindu. Non Hindus are not allowed inside the temple, but you can go to the museum to the left of it located in the old palace. It is gorgeous and has many priceless artifacts. Definitely go see the outside of the Temple and the museum. You cannot take pictures inside the museum. Only the outside.
