I had recently visited Uno Mas, a Spanish restaurant located in Vagator, Goa. The ambience is very creative and the food is equally innovative and amazing.
I tried a variety of Tapas, cocktails and Spanish dishes. The seafood Paella tasted great, with chunks of fish and prawn. The tacos were juicy and delicious. The Gambas Al Ajillo was my favorite. The cocktails went perfectly with the food. I also had Tres Leches for dessert, which was a perfect ending to the grand meal.
This place is a must visit for foodies if you are in Goa !
Recently visited Uno Màs and had a wonderful experience.
If you want to experiment with your and try out something innovative, I would totally recommend this place.
They serve Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine. The menu is very well curated, be it the food or the drinks.
We tried the Chicken Tacos, which were so juicy and delicious. Next on we tried the Gambas, Chicken Pinchos and the Chicken Paella. Gambas is a prawn dish and if you love the prawn flavour a little too much, then this one is a must must try. Chicken Pinchos is more like a Spanish version to our Indian kebabs. The cocktails as well were quite interesting and absolutely refreshing.
This place will offer you a beautiful dining experience with great food, beautiful rustic ambience and very friendly and courteous staff.
Visited one of Mumbai’s beloved tapas bar that made its way to Goa by the end of 2021. A tapas and Cocktail bar serving authentic Spanish, Mexican and a bit of Mediterranean as well.
Residing at Anjuna this tapas bar kitchen with its indoor outdoor concept and moody aesthetic interior with french provincial furniture and chandeliers make the place extremely inviting.
Heres what I ordered
Gambas Al Ajillo i.e Garlic prawns cooked in fragrant prawn-head and oil which was accompanied with bread to soak up all the flavourful goodness remaining in your plate. A little squeeze of lime and you are good to go.
Pescador Mantequilla i.e a local fish (chonak) in a sinful buttery sauce. You can’t skip this lip-smacking signature dish out. That perfectly cooked flaky fish with crispy skin on top in that pool of butter sauce was everything.
Pescaito Frito is golden fried fish and prawns served with a tartare styled alioli kept me going with its perfect crunch.
The highlight for me had to be the Pork Carnitas tacos topped with pickled onions, slaw and sweet-sour pineapple salsa. Blow of different flavours leave your palate wanting for more.
Pinchos Morunos is morrish chicken skewers served with pickled onions & mojo rojo dip was one packed with a generous spice rub to lock in loads of flavours.
Obviously I couldn’t miss out on Paella the most iconic Spanish dish. Which basically is rice cooked in aromatic seafood broth and saffron with assorted seafood of the day till it get a crust of crispy burnt bottom which is called socarrat. The chefs indeed have done a great job perfecting this recipe over the past 2 years. A wholesome dish which can be shared among people.
And of course I couldn’t end without gobbling down my all time fave dessert Tres Leches which is prepared using three different types of milk. (evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream)
Cheers to Anka one of the co owners for being a wonderful host and guiding us through our experience along with her amazing team which help run everything smoothly.
Everything I tasted was sensational and bursting with flavours so would highly recommend you’ll not to skip this on out.
