Loved this place. The ambience is awesome. Very friendly staff and food is very tasty. I loved rose milk the most as dessert. Pure authentic meals.i would have given 10 rating out of five.
It is so good compared to the one in kakinada. Ambience is top notch. There are 2 floors each for normal meals and special meals. Normal meals cost 170 rs. Special meals is 260rs. Special meals will have more items than normal meals. All the items are very good. Their service is excellent. Sweets are very tasty. There are many different curries and all tastes good. Must try if you are visiting Vijayawada.
The best Hotel i visited in recent times. Pure vegetarian option, meals was very tasty and they are serving 26 items. Customer Treatment was superb.

Subbayya Gari Hotel is the brain child of Shree Subbayya garu. His unique ability to combine ingredients in a perfect proportion using the finest and freshest ingredients made him bring out the best taste of traditional food of the land. Mr. Subbayya's passion towards bringing the delicious and hygienic food at an affordable cost made him to streamline his efforts to open a mess. Ultimately, in 1950, with the support staff of 10 people, he opened a small mess and started serving meals for just 50 paisa.
Later In 1955, Mr. Subbayya had moved the mess to Kakinada, a town in East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh and named it as Sri Krishna Vilas. His immense efforts, home-like hospitality and of course the love for the art of cooking soon spread far & wide and this tiny mess evolved into the legendary Subbayya Gari Hotel.
