The restaurant is inside Sterling Yelagiri. They have a decent menu. The South Indian and North Indian food is very good. Especially the paneer is extremely soft and very tasty. The breakfast buffet also has a decent spread. However some items are not in the counter and have to be specially requested like poori and paratha. Some of the starters and Italian dishes like pasta had a heavy dose of pepper and it was really spicy. It was more like a Indian Italian fusion and we didn't like it very much. Please do not that they add a 5% service charge and 18% GST unlike a regular restaurant where gst is only 5%.
Definitely recommend to eat here as we couldn't find any other better place in the small town of Yelagiri.
I have eaten paneer many times from. zomato but the sultani paneer they offered today was excellent. One the waitress, Kumaresan provided great service. They have lot of sitting space. I went for buffet option which had many veg option and three nonveg options including fish. The place was full of people and I could make out that they serve very good food.
The restaurant is situated in the premises of Sterling resort, Yelagiri. It offers both buffet and ala carte options. The buffet breakfast has decent options ranging from the south Indian staples like idly, dosa, medhu vada to more continental options like French toast and baked beans
The chef was also kind enough to recommend us some local dishes and cooked delicious mutton Chettinad for us for one of the days.
