A Super Momo joint!
Pros:
1) Wok Box seals the deal for the hungry ones.
2) Variety of momos - Palak and Tandoori are a must try.
3) Flavours are well balanced.
4) Best for a quick meal or on the go.
5) Comfort meal concept.
Cons:
1) A very small joint - seating is a issue.
2) Prices are on a higher end.
3) Coolers offered are below average.
4) Service is really slow! Make sure you have enough time to wait.
Overall.. A must visit joint for your Momo cravings. Wok Box is the highlight and sorts your meal!
It's obvious fact that every crowded corner of this city has at least one Momo-junction with hundreds of varieties/flavors available, yet somehow I am not attracted to the Momos . I ended up at MOMO JOJO JP nagar for quality time.
Its only fair to know about some history of this place:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
MoMo JoJo Originally started at J.P.Nagar(2nd phase) with the 2nd outlet in BTM II Stage & 3rd one is in Koramangla.
Well, the place is small and one cannot compare its ambiance with the likes of starred restaurants, this tiny place is surrounded by. But it's a place neatly maintained than many other well known restaurants that I have visited.
If you are a bunch of friends who enjoy the food, good music and tight on budget, then mark my words "You are at the right place".
Though I am not a "Momos" lover, every dish they served may have taken a while to get to my mouth, but I have found the best place for Momos in my city.
Momo JoJo came into existence only few years ago, yet they have raised the bars to operate amidst the big guns. Watch out you fellas!!!
Momo Jojo has got an amazing menu but it's unfortunate that they could server with only a few tables at this small place. You may end up waiting for a table on a weekend
First things first serve. Momo JoJo is a vegetarian option too. But this doesn't mean that this it is not the place of Non-Veggies! The food looks great and tastes even better. They serve 8 unique kind of Momos prepared in 6 different ways.
1. Mix veg baked chilly Momos: The authentic juicy, tender Momos(6-8 numbers) dipped in the chilly-garlic sauce. We Ordered it again(deep fried this time) for no one could settle with one.
2. Spinach Corn cheese deep fried Momos: The name says it all. Sounds generic! Tastes specific. Crispy Momos served with chopped veggie dressing and 3 sauces to dive in.
3. Veg Sizzler: 4-5 sticks of veggies/Fried Momos with the based of noodles gets better and better every bite. Before you haul the pan and dig in, give it a minute unless you want to burn your taste buds.I mean it!!
4. Kung pao(Rice/Noodles): Tasted this many-a-times near my work place, certainly I had no interest on this. But learnt that the way it was prepared and presented is the way it must be. Not the sauce in one bowl and rice/noodles in another. Dig down to find the rice in it.
5. Chocolate Boa & Sizzling brownie: Sorry for I couldn't get enough bite to describe as all my friends fought out for every bite they could get by tearing the desserts apart. Yes its that tempting.
6. Raw mango tango:(Aam panna) Order this as a pass-time drink, till the food is served, and you will end up finishing this only when you are done eating. Nothing fancy about this drink but the service is. But this is not available in JP nagar
We travelled almost 22kms in Bangalore traffic to visit place.. At first disappointed with veg only menu because am always used to non veg momos..
As we dnt have any idea what to taste, we went with filling sampler platter that has each piece with different fillings available.. Then we tried panneer salsa as suggested by the counter guy.
The service was awesome. Ranjan (Counter guy) was more than sweet hence offered us a complementary dessert called choco bao which had sizzlers taste to it..
Overall great place to head for momo love!
